Words from Our Leadership Team

Head of School

Welcome!

After a foundational first year of establishing our roots, I am proud to welcome you to the next chapter of Jade School. We have emerged stronger, more focused, and deeply committed to our refined principles of educational excellence.

We believe that education is more than a service - it is a calling. We hold a deep sense of responsibility before God to give our absolute best in every lesson we teach and every interaction we have. We don't just work for our students; we faithfully pray for every child and our wider community, seeking wisdom to nurture each child toward the God-given purpose and potential placed within them.

Therefore, our academic journey is thoughtfully crafted as a continuous progression of growth. From the purposeful play experiences of our Early Years - where the foundations of Identity, Interaction, Independence, and Inquiry are formed - to the High School years, where students are challenged to lead through impactful innovation, we strive to ensure that every child's learning journey is intentional, meaningful, and fruitful.

We believe that brilliant minds are best guided by humble and loving hearts. Within the LGF Ecosystem, grounded in the values of Pancasila and our J.A.D.E values, we are a diverse community where every child is celebrated and every step of progress is cherished.

Finally, we believe that world-class education should not be an exclusive luxury. We are committed to accessible excellence, ensuring that the majority of our community can provide their children with the high-quality, character-driven education they deserve.

I invite you to walk this journey with us.

Febe Theodora
Head of Jade School

Early Years Principal

Welcome to our Early Years community, where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and grow in a warm, safe, and joyful environment. In Nursery, Kindergarten 1, and Kindergarten 2, we believe that the early years are an important foundation for lifelong learning. Through meaningful activities, we support each child's social, emotional, academic, and creative development.

At our school, education is not only about academic success, but also about building good character and positive values. Through our J-A-D-E values (Jujur, Aktif, Disiplin, and Empati), children are guided to become responsible and caring individuals. Together with parents, we are committed to supporting every child's growth and creating meaningful learning experiences throughout their early years journey.

Philosophy and Curriculum

Our educational framework is comprehensively designed to nurture the whole student. We seamlessly align the National Curriculum with our Holistic Syntegration philosophy to cultivate both intellectual sharpness and strong character. Rooted in the belief that every child is a unique individual striving for their maximum potential, Holistic Syntegration serves as the foundation for all our policies and daily classroom instruction.

Academic intelligence (the "I" Pillars) and character (J-A-D-E) grow side-by-side within a supportive ecosystem. Our goal is to mentor every child from the learning stage to becoming an inspiring individual for the nation.

01. The "Learn, Grow, Flourish" Ecosystem

We view education as a continuous organic process:
  • Learn: Facilitating a child's curiosity to understand fundamental concepts and noble values.
  • Grow: Providing space for children to practice knowledge and values until they become independent habits.
  • Flourish: Supporting children to reach the stage of self-actualization, where they are capable of making a positive impact and becoming an inspiration to others.

02. Foundation of Education: J-A-D-E

We believe that character is not merely taught, but must be lived. Through the J-A-D-E | Jujur (Integrity), Aktif (Active Initiatives), Disiplin (Discipline), Empati (Empathy) values, we guide students to:
  • Possess integrity in thought and action.
  • Be brave in taking initiative and adapting to change.
  • Have resilience and take responsibility for their tasks.
  • Build harmonious relationships by respecting others.

The Six Stages of Character Growth
Character building needs time. We follow a structured developmental path where students progress through six distinct stages as they move from the Early Years through High School.

Core ValueIntegrated Character Qualities
JujurIntegrity and Honesty (Integritas dan Kejujuran)
AktifCourage (Keberanian) & Adaptability (Adaptabilitas)
DisiplinResponsibility (Tanggung Jawab), Self-Confidence (Kepercayaan Diri), & Perseverance (Ketekunan)
EmpatiKindness (Kebaikan) & Respect (Rasa Hormat)

School Q&A Highlights

Can Moslem students apply?

Absolutely! We welcome students from all faiths. We offer four religion classes: Islam, Protestant Christianity, Catholicism, and Buddhism. Each class is taught by qualified teachers of the respective faith, following an officially recognized and relevant religious curriculum. (Hinduism and Confucianism are provided on a situational basis).

Can our daughter wear a hijab?

Of course she can. Muslim parents and their beloved daughters are warmly welcome to join our school. We uphold the principle of Quality Education for All Children — embracing every student regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or culture. Every child deserves to learn comfortably while expressing their identity and faith with confidence.

What is the main language of instruction?

The primary language used in our teaching activities is Bahasa Indonesia. However, for Mathematics and Science subjects, we apply a bilingual approach (English–Indonesian) in both teaching delivery and learning materials. This approach helps prepare students for global challenges while maintaining a strong connection to their mother tongue.

At what age can our child enroll?

We accept students from ages 3 to 18, covering Early Years, Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. We believe that quality education should begin early and continue through adolescence, helping children grow with a strong foundation and practical skills to thrive in the future.

What is the school's religious foundation?

Our school is not affiliated with any particular religion. We are a national institution that values religious freedom and cultural diversity. Our educational approach promotes inclusivity and respect, without favoring any race, religion, or majority (or minority) group. The learning system integrates three languages — Mandarin, English, and Indonesian — within an open environment that honors each student's unique identity.

Is there a building or development fee when students move up levels (e.g., from Early Years to Elementary, or Elementary to Middle School)?

There are no development or building fees. Transitions between levels are carried out without any additional charges. Students can continue their education smoothly, free from hidden costs. We believe that a child's learning journey should never be burdened by administrative fees — our curriculum is designed to ensure every stage of education remains progressive, continuous, and enjoyable.

What fees do parents need to pay?

The following are the main fee components: Monthly tuition fee — mandatory, paid every month. Uniform fee — paid once upon enrollment, and only again if replacement is needed. Book fee — paid every semester to support the learning process. Admission fee — once every semester (every 6 months). There are no building or development fees. All costs are transparent and flexible according to each child's needs.

Does Sekolah Abadi Budaya Mulia (Jade School) have other branches? How is the school's reputation?

Yes, we have several sister schools located in different cities, all sharing the same educational vision: Sekolah Cinta Mulia (Chongmian – Cengkareng), Sekolah Cinta Budaya (Chongwen – Medan), and Sekolah Medan Mulia (Mianzhong – Medan). These schools are part of the same educational network that upholds cultural values, innovation, and high-quality multilingual learning. Our school is well-regarded for its strong reputation in character building, diversity, and future-oriented education.

For the new academic year, should we register now or wait until the national academic calendar is released?

We strongly encourage parents to register as early as possible because: The number of seats per class is limited by system capacity, slots fill up quickly due to high demand, and early registration increases your chance of securing an ideal class placement. Bookings can be made even a year in advance to secure your child's seat before the new school year begins. Our classes are intentionally kept small, allowing teachers to focus on each student and provide more personalized education. This also helps build stronger social and academic connections for your child's future.

In three years, I'm planning to enroll my child, currently in Grade 3, at Jade School. Is the Middle School level already available?

No need to wait three more years, Parents. Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, Jade School will open enrollment for both Middle and High School levels. This means your child can continue studying within the same supportive environment without needing to transfer elsewhere.

My child is 5 years and 10 months old — can they enroll in Grade 1?

In general, the minimum age for Grade 1 enrollment is 6 years old. However, for children aged 5 years and 10 months, we recommend that parents discuss further with our team. Please also consider the child's readiness in areas such as focus, fine motor skills, and social interaction. You may schedule an appointment with our marketing or academic staff for a readiness observation and personalized guidance according to school policy.

What is the maximum number of students per class?

Class capacity is intentionally limited to keep learning focused and effective: Early Years — up to 25 students per class. Elementary, Middle, and High School — up to 32 students per class. This allows teachers to engage more closely with each student, understand their individual character, and create a truly conducive learning environment. We don't pack classrooms like concert halls — here, Quality is NOT EQUAL to Quantity. In fact, Quality is FAR GREATER than Quantity, dear Parents.
